MHP Kocaeli Deputy and GNAT National Defense Commission Spokesperson Saffet Sancaklı, speaking during budget negotiations, hailed these achievements and emphasized Turkiye’s unwavering support for its armed forces.

The Altay Main Battle Tank and other domestically produced vehicles like Akrep, Cobra, Ejder, Hedgehog, and Pars are not only bolstering Turkiye’s own defense capabilities but also generating significant revenue through exports.

Sancaklı proudly declared Turkiye’s UCAVs as symbols of both the Turkish army’s power and its unwavering support for allies. He pointed to the significant export figures, with the Turkish Aviation sector reaching $4.3 billion in exports last year and exceeding the $4 billion target in the first 7 months of 2023. July alone saw a record-breaking $657.5 million in exports.
