CES Advanced Composites & Defence Technologies Inc. has established itself as a world-class designer, developer and manufacturer of advanced composite parts and assemblies for aerospace and defence applications.

We have the infrastructure, capability and capacity to position ourselves as the leading supplier of advanced composite materials, ballistic protective armour and engineering services in the local market and the global composites and defence market.

Our expertise in composite component design, development and production has enabled us to develop a leading range of products covering a broad spectrum of applications. As well as focusing on the defence and aerospace industries, we continue research and development activities to expand our expertise and increase our capability in ballistic product manufacturing.

Our ballistic armour product portfolio includes helmets, vests, inserts, shields and EOD Search Suits for personnel protection as well as Add-on Armour, Spall Liner and composite armour panels for land, air and naval vehicle platforms. As Turkey’s highest capacity ballistic composite panel manufacturer, our composite armour solutions are already mounted on more than 2500 platforms both in Turkey and across the World.

Having been certified with the international aviation quality management standard AS9100 and ISO9001 since 2013, we achieved NADCAP Nondestructive Inspections (NDT) accreditation in 2018 and NADCAP Composite Certificate in 2019. The company’s main factory is 17,000 m2 built in Ankara Temelli and is registered as an accredited R&D centre by the Turkish Ministry of Industry and Technology.

Most recently, our Ballistic Test Center was opened in Ankara in August 2019 with a broad scope of ballistic testing capability including all levels of NIJ 0101.06 and NIJ 0101.04, STANAG 4569 Threats Level-1 to Level-6, VPAM personal armour ballistic tests and VPAM BRV standards for special vehicles. The testing service will soon be internationally accredited.

Moreover, CES Advanced Composites produces fibre reinforced polymer (FRP) parts for the automotive, railway, machinery, farm equipments, alternative energy systems and consturction industries in our 8700 m2 facility in Izmir.

As a part of our global growth strategy, we established a R&D and strategic manufacturing facility in the UK for the design and manufacture of advanced armour and composite systems. The focus of our UK facility is to provide in-country support for MoD and OEM programs, while enhancing the production capability for our UK and European customers. It is being furnished with state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment for the manufacture of advanced composites, add-on armour and spall liner systems for Land and Naval platforms and also have the capability to manufacture the full range of CES personal protection systems on site including; Ballistic Helmets, Inserts and Shields.
